Responsibilities:

Consulting & Strategy:

1. Analyze client needs in financial institutions (banks, investment firms, etc.) to design and implement FinTech solutions.

2. Advise on process optimization, automation, and integration of technologies (e.g., blockchain, AI/ML, payment systems).

3. Translate financial operational requirements into technical specifications for development teams.

Technical Expertise:

1. Demonstrate a basic understanding of system design architectures, including microservices, RESTful APIs, and understanding of database structure.

2. Collaborate with developers on database design (SQL/NoSQL), data pipelines, and API integrations.

3. Apply basic coding skills (Python, SQL, or similar) to troubleshoot, prototype, or validate solutions.

Financial Domain Knowledge:

1. Leverage deep knowledge of financial operations (e.g., trade lifecycle, risk management, compliance) to align solutions with industry standards (e.g., Basel III, MiFID II).

2. Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks (GDPR, PSD2) and cybersecurity best practices.

3. Good understanding of financial concept and able to create models to perform financial analysis such as Portfolio Performance and Risk Metrics.

4. Experience in Regulatory requirements and reports.

Project Management & Collaboration:

1. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

2. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. 5 years of experience in FinTech, financial consulting, or financial operations at banks/investment firms.

3. Technical proficiency: Basic coding (Python/SQL), system design (APIs, microservices), and database fundamentals.

4. Strong understanding of financial products, regulations, and operational workflows.

Preferred:

1. CFA designation (or progress toward certification).

2. Experienced in financial operations in banks or investment firms is better.
