Environmental Consultant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Consultant to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for supporting a variety of environmental assessments, monitoring and auditing programs, noise impact studies, and sustainability projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and a commitment to professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the preparation, review, and management of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Monitoring & Audit (EM&A), and noise assessment reports.

· Conduct field surveys, data collection, and environmental monitoring (e.g., air quality, noise, water, ecology).

· Analyze data, interpret results, and provide clear technical recommendations.

· Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

· Support the development of environmental management plans and sustainability initiatives.

· Prepare high-quality technical proposals, presentations, and reports.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Acoustics, Sustainability, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is highly preferred.

· Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or a related field.

· Solid understanding of Hong Kong environmental legislation and the EIA process.

· Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is an advantage.

· Proficient in MS Office and relevant environmental modeling/analysis software.

· Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Professional Qualifications (A Significant Plus):

· HKIE membership (Environmental, Mechanical, or related discipline) is highly desirable.

· HKIQEP or HKIOA qualification is a strong advantage.

· Membership with relevant international bodies (e.g., CIWEM) will be favorably considered.

· Other professional credentials (e.g., BEAM Pro, ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor) are also a plus.
