System Analyst / Senior Analyst Programmer ( Java/J2EE )

Job Purpose:

• To design, support, and enhance application systems—primarily focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) modules and their integration with other core insurance systems—ensuring compliance, efficiency, and maintainability within budget and timeline.

• Lead the analysis, design, and support of AML-related modules and their integration with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., policy administration, customer onboarding, payment systems).
• Ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability to support AML screening, transaction monitoring, and reporting.
• Prepare system and program specifications that reflect AML compliance needs and integration touchpoints.
• Maintain high-quality system design and development standards across AML and related modules.
• Ensure that application system developed is efficient and easily maintainable.
• Maintain good communication and co-ordination with team members, Application Systems Department colleagues and users.
• Train Subordinates on the necessary knowledge and skills in order to complete their tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• At least 3 years ' relevant working experience in application analysis, application design, application development and implementation
• Experience in AML modules and their integration within insurance systems is highly preferable
• Hands-on experience in in JAVA, J2EE , Servlet and knowledge in framework (e.g. Spring/Struts/Hibernate)
• Technical knowledge in web-based/API-based/development with web (JSP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON, jQuery)
• Prior working experience in mobile application development, prefer using Swift/Objective-C, mobile UI/UX design
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst Programmer
• MUST communicate with Cantonese fluently
