Our client is a global financial institution offering investment banking, asset management, and wealth services. They are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to drive technology strategy and innovation in the Hong Kong team. This person will help design impactful, business-aligned solutions and promote best practices across divisions, with a focus on growth and AI adoption.

• This is a 1 year contract role based in Hong Kong - renewable or to perm opportunities

The Role:

As an Enterprise Architect, you’ll lead the adoption of architecture practices across Asia, working closely with both technical and business teams to translate strategic objectives into effective technology solutions. You’ll represent the architecture function regionally, guide teams on system design aligned with global standards, and conduct architecture reviews to identify risks and ensure quality implementation. Your work will include developing reusable architecture models and best-practice templates, promoting the use of Generative AI responsibly, and bringing fresh industry insights into project discussions. This role involves close collaboration with a globally distributed team and offers the opportunity to shape the future of technology strategy within a major financial organization.

The Person:

• 10+ years in technical architecture, systems design, or related roles

• Deep knowledge of architectural principles and modern design patterns (e.g., microservices, API-first, event-driven architecture)

• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and project life cycle management

• Familiar with frameworks like TOGAF or C4

• Skilled in data modeling, DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Exposure to financial IT and AI technologies

• Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional setup

• Ability to translate business goals into effective tech solutions

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Fluency in English and Cantonese
