Duties include:

Responsible for teaching and implementing Cantonese courses, covering basic pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar, daily conversations, Cantonese culture, etc., using diverse teaching methods such as situational simulation, interactive questioning, film and television material analysis, etc., to ensure that students master Cantonese knowledge and practical application skills.

Regularly evaluate students’ learning effectiveness through classroom observation, assignment grading, and periodic tests, etc., to fully understand students’ learning situation, adjust teaching strategies accordingly, and promptly feedback students’ learning achievements and improvement suggestions.

Participate in school or institutional organization of Cantonese language teaching and research activities, share teaching experiences, exchange teaching insights; pay attention to the forefront of Cantonese language teaching, continuously optimize teaching methods and course content.

Job Requirements

1. Language ability: Cantonese as the mother tongue level, standard and pure pronunciation, natural and fluent intonation, able to use Cantonese fluently for listening, speaking, reading and writing, and good Cantonese written expression and oral communication skills.

3. Teaching experience: More than one year of Cantonese teaching experience, familiar with the Cantonese teaching system and methods, and able to effectively control the classroom pace; those with online and offline teaching experience, or those with teaching experience for different ages and backgrounds of students, are preferred.

4. Comprehensive quality: Love the education industry, have strong sense of responsibility, patience and affinity, and be good at building good teacher-student relationships with students; have good organizational and coordination skills and classroom management skills, and be able to flexibly respond to unexpected situations in the teaching process.

5. Skill requirements: Proficient in using office software (such as Word, Excel, PPT) to create teaching materials; able to use online teaching platforms, multimedia equipment, etc. to conduct teaching activities; have a certain cross-cultural communication awareness, and be able to explain Cantonese cultural background to non-Cantonese speaking region students.
