Credit Control / Credit Analyst (Welcome from Bank)

Join our client's as a Credit Control / Credit Analyst (Special Assets Management) in our Kowloon office.

Grading : Assistant Manager, Manager, and Senior Manager

What you'll be doing

• Analyze customer credit records, assess their financial situation and debt repayment ability, and provide professional advice on credit limits and terms.

• Continuously monitor customer account status, proactively follow up on overdue receivables, and promote timely recovery.

• Communicate and coordinate directly with clients to clarify and resolve credit disputes, repayment conflicts, and other related issues.

• Prepare detailed credit reports and portfolio analyses, and regularly report risk status and trends to management.

• Participate in the development, optimization, and implementation of credit control policies and operational processes.

• Support the dedicated asset management team in handling defaulted accounts, including evaluating debt restructuring plans and coordinating debt reorganization arrangements.

• Monitor the quality of dedicated asset management and collection efforts implemented by participating lending institutions, and assist in initiating legal proceedings (including against borrowers and individual guarantors) when necessary.

• Assist in coordinating administrative matters related to the loan guarantee program and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders (such as banks, law firms, and regulatory agencies).

• Execute ad-hoc projects or cross-departmental support tasks as needed.

What we're looking for

• Degree holder with Minimum 3 years of experience in Credit Analyst / Loan Monitoring / restructuring / liquidation /Debt recovery / Collection / Special Assets Management in the banking or financial services industry

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients

• Familiarity with credit-related regulations and industry best practices
