Assistant Accountant

InspiringHK Sports Foundation is seeking a talented individual as our Assistant Accountant. Our Accountant will be based in Hong Kong, working under the direction of the Senior Finance Officer.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist in the day-to-day accounting operations using Xero
• Handle daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivables, input journal entries
• Monitor project performance and key indicators: support Division as required in understanding project performance.
• Monitor & analyze revenue to ensure proper revenue recognition methods used; be able to explain key project metrics and lead indicators.
• Trade settlements
• Preparation of management accounts
• HSBCNet and other banking operations
• Other accounting duties including preparation of accounting schedules for company
• Assist for the Monthly Financial Report
• Ensure proper filing records on a timely basis
• Assist Senior Finance Officer in preparing project audits and annual audit
• Other ad-hoc projects

Qualifications

• Open to Fresh Graduates with relevant majors in Finance/Accounting
• A strong team player capable of working with different personalities from different functional backgrounds;
• Strong ability to complete multiple assignments concurrently whilst balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines;
• Organised and detail-oriented with high integrity;
  Proficiency in Microsoft office Excel and Xero is a plus;
• Student member of related professional accounting qualifications such as HKICPA / ACCA / CPAA is a plus
