**Position Overview**
The FICC Structured Product Associate is a critical role within the Structured Finance team, responsible for designing, analyzing, and executing complex financial transactions. This position involves close collaboration with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners to develop tailored solutions such as asset-backed securities (ABS), collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), and other structured products. **Key Responsibilities**
1. **Transaction Structuring & Analysis**
- Develop sophisticated financial models to assess cash flow waterfalls, risk scenarios, and investor returns.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on underlying assets, including loans, leases, and receivables.
- Evaluate credit, market, and operational risks using advanced quantitative tools.
2. **Due Diligence & Documentation**
- Work closely with legal, tax, and accounting teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., Dodd-Frank, Basel III).
- Draft term sheets, offering memoranda, and investor presentations.
- Review and analyze legal documentation, including indentures and servicer agreements.
- Present analytical insights and findings to clients and investors in a clear and concise manner.
- Address client inquiries regarding transaction mechanics and associated risks.
4. **Market Research & Innovation**
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and rating agency criteria to identify emerging opportunities.
- Explore potential growth areas in sectors such as real estate, automotive, and renewable energy.
5. **Risk Management & Reporting**
- Assess portfolio performance and propose strategies to mitigate credit/default risks.
- Prepare comprehensive internal reports on transaction outcomes and market conditions.
6. **Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- Partner with origination, syndication, and risk management teams to optimize deal execution.
- Assist senior team members in developing pitches for new business opportunities.

**Qualifications**
**Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- An MBA, CFA, or FRM certification is highly desirable.
**Experience:**
- 2–5 years of experience in structured finance, investment banking, or related fields (ABS, CLOs, MBS).
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and transaction execution.
**Technical Skills:**
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel/VBA; knowledge of Python/SQL is advantageous.
- Experience with platforms such as Bloomberg, Intex, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with rating agency methodologies (e.g., Moody’s, S&P).
