Cost Accountant

Responsibilities

• Assist Finance Manager (or above) in R&D team’s daily financial operations, month-end closing and ad hoc project
• Compile actual variance report and annual budget report
• Maintain proper inventory records with designated inventory management system
• Costing analysis (including but not limited to manufacturing costing, BOM & routing labour cost, scrap and factory processes (RM / WIP / FG), etc.)
• Check AP and verify payments to ascertain proper booking
• Support external and internal audits and participate in half-yearly stock take and fixed assets count

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years experiences in sizable company of electronics or mechanical engineering industries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Chinese word processing, experience in costing analysis and knowledge of MYOB Exo Job Costing will be an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented & organized team player
• Immediate availability is highly preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the financial manager (or above) in handling the daily financial operations, month-end settlements, and temporary projects of the R&D team
• Prepare actual difference reports and annual budget reports
• Use a designated inventory management system to maintain appropriate inventory records
• Cost calculation and analysis (including but not limited to manufacturing cost calculation, BOM and routing labor cost, scrap and factory processes (RM/WIP/FG) etc.)

Position requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields/ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration;
• Proficient in data analysis and prediction methods
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Chinese text processing, and cost analysis experience
• And MYOB Exo Job Costing Knowledge is preferred
• Strategic planning and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good at analysis, familiar with numbers
• Working language is Chinese
