About the Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Quantitative Trading Trainee to join our trading team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of our quantitative trading infrastructure, working closely with traders to automate and enhance execution workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Main responsibilities

- Develop and maintain quantitative trading applications, including automated order execution, market data capture, and strategy implementation

Develop and maintain a quantitative trading program, including automatic order placement, market data retrieval, and strategy execution

- Integrate with broker and exchange APIs to facilitate seamless trade automation

Integrate broker and exchange APIs to automate trading processes

- Assist the trading desk with strategy backtesting, performance analysis, and data-driven research

Assist the trading team in strategy backtesting, performance analysis, and data research

- Monitor system health and perform routine technical maintenance and troubleshooting

Monitor system running status, perform daily technical maintenance and fault diagnosis

- Document technical specifications and operational procedures

Write technical documentation and operating procedures

Requirements

- Proficiency in Python programming

- Strong interest in financial markets and quantitative trading

- Experience with API integration or data processing is an advantage
