Responsible for the preliminary processing of ingredients in the kitchen, including washing, cutting, marinating and packaging, etc. Ensure that all types of ingredients meet the cooking standards and hygiene regulations.
Assist the chef and sous chef in completing daily cooking processes such as preparation, serving, collecting, cleaning the stove and cooking utensils, and maintaining smooth back-end operations.
Prepare soup bases, sauces, and stock in advance according to standard recipes, and ensure consistent flavor and quality by following the recipe and storing the ingredients properly.
Manage refrigerated, frozen and dry goods warehouses, regularly inventory, label food expiration dates, implement first-in-first-out principle, and avoid waste and expiration risks.
Requirements:
Applicants with basic Chinese or Cantonese kitchen experience are preferred, but those with no experience are also welcome to apply, provided they have a strong desire to learn and a hard-working spirit.
Familiar with common knife skills (such as silk, slice, diced, and strips) and basic cooking assistance processes, and able to identify the common characteristics and storage methods of ingredients.
Have good team collaboration skills, be able to clearly receive instructions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, actively support peers, and maintain a positive communication attitude.
