Calzedonia was founded in 1986 close to Verona, Italy, with the aim of creating a new way of selling hosiery and beachwear to women, men and children through a sales network of franchise stores. The Group later broadened its repertoire to include the lingerie market with Intimissimi and Tezenis. Falconeri knitwear has been added to its range, as well as Atelier Emé haute-couture bridal gowns and party dresses, Signorvino wine stores, yacht brand Cantiere del Pardo, Intimissimi Uomo, created exclusively for men and Antonio Marras, an exclusive and creative fashion house. Afterwards, the group began to broaden its product line: it created the Intimissimi and Tezenis brands and entered the lingerie sales market. It also acquired the following brands: knitwear brand Falconeri, high-end wedding dress and evening gown brand Atelier Emé, wine brand Signorvino, and yacht brand Cantiere del Pardo. Intimissimi Uomo is the group's newly established men's brand. The Group officially changed its name in December 2023 to Oniverse. The success of the Oniverse is the result of a number of factors: the wide variety of its products, the particular attention paid to trends and an unbeatable quality-price ratio. In 2009, the Group acquired Falconeri, a brand also from Italy, which specializes in the production and design of high-quality cashmere.A magical combination of the finest natural fibers, Italia artisan skills and innovative production systems define Falconeri garments.
