Position: Multimedia Officer

Contract Period: 24 months

Working Location:

• Mainly Housing Department Headquarters, Homantin, Kowloon;

• Secretary for Housing Office, Tamar, Hong Kong; or

• Any other places/offices in Hong Kong pertaining to job duties at the request of the Supervising Officer(s)

Salary : HK$33,405

Working Hours : Normally Monday to Friday, in office hours routine, in total 44 hours per week

Job Duties:

• To develop design layouts for publicity/presentation materials, including but not limited to PowerPoint, based on requirements and information provided by HA representatives.

• To take visual images/video clips and provide visual aids for presentations to and discussionswith the Office of the Secretary for Housing, including infographics, emojis, animations, video clips, and visuals with special effects.

• To provide technical support for meetings/presentation sessions, including the utilization ofappropriate software and setup of necessary equipment.

• To create design with illustrations including text/infographics/collage of pictures/videos/ animations/scripts/storyboards to support online publicity and public engagement activities on various social media platforms.

• To supervise and manage the performance of any engaged service provider for the production ofvisual images for public presentation including photos, videos, and moving images.

• To liaise with service providers for the preparation of artwork output files and/or printingarrangements if necessary.

• To perform any other associated duties as required and assigned by supervisors in accordancewith operational needs.

Requirements:

Candidates should at least have :

• A bachelor's degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent, OR

• An accredited associate degree / higher diploma/diploma from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent OR

• Level 3 or equivalent in five subjects in the HKDSE and at least 3 years' full-time relevant working experience in visual/graphic / advertising design / creative media / digital media OR

• A pass in two subjects at Advanced Level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Level 3 / Grade C or above in three other subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and at least 3 years' full-time relevant working experience in visual/graphic / advertising design / creative media / digital media

• Language Requirements :

  • Level 3 or above in both Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diplomaof Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent results in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE):

  • HKDSEE : Level 3 or above in both Chinese Language and English Language.

  • HKCEE: Grade C or above in both Chinese Language (Syllabus B) and English Language (Syllabus B).

• Be proficient in software applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, website, graphics/media design, etc.

• Possess a solid understanding of color management principles and demonstrate proficiency in color management techniques

• Have knowledge of Adobe Flash, AutoCAD, and other software applications in mobile applications; experience in the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms; the experience in the production of videos; creating and managing social media campaigns is considered an advantage; and

• be lawfully employable in Hong Kong
