Job Description
Proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese, patient and flexible, and experienced
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for teaching Mandarin courses to students of different ages and levels (including children, youths and adults), covering the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Design appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities based on students’ learning objectives (such as test preparation, daily communication, workplace application, etc.), and flexibly adjust the teaching rhythm and style.
- Utilize multimedia resources, interactive games, situational dialogues, and recitation practice to enhance students' phonetic accuracy, vocabulary, and fluency in expression.
- Regularly assess learning progress, provide specific learning feedback, and help students develop personalized learning plans.
- Cooperate with schools or educational institutions to arrange, participate in curriculum development meetings, parent communication and related teaching support work.
- Have a certificate of Level 2 or above in the National Mandarin Proficiency Test (PSC), with standard pronunciation, natural intonation, and clear demonstration of Mandarin phonology, rhyme, and tone, as well as light voice and infantile voice.
- Fluent use of Cantonese as a teaching assistant language can effectively bridge language differences, help local students understand Mandarin grammar structures and cultural background.
- Have at least two years of Mandarin teaching experience to local students, familiar with the common teaching materials and learning pain points in Hong Kong and Macao (such as level and tongue, front and back nasal sounds, etc.).
- Have high patience, empathy and emotional regulation skills, and be able to display flexible teaching strategies to students of different levels and learning styles.
- Have good communication and collaboration skills, be punctual and responsible, value professional development, and be willing to continue participating in teaching and learning and course optimization.
