Job Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD or BIM and other professional software to draw and check the fire protection facility plan, system block diagram and detailed construction drawing, supporting project design and application review process.

• Stay on site and carry out full-cycle fire engineering supervision and management, including material acceptance, process inspection, hidden engineering record and coordination of final acceptance, ensuring construction quality and safety compliance.

• In accordance with the Hong Kong Fire Services Department's Fire Safety (Buildings) Regulations and Fire Alarm System Practical Guidelines, etc., prepare, review and sign statutory documents for the fire system, including the "Fire System Certificate", "Completion Certificate" and "Periodic Inspection Report".

Work requirements

• Must hold a Hong Kong Fire Services Department-recognized "Registered Fire Engineer" qualification, with statutory signing authority, and maintain an effective registration status in fire engineering practice.

• Have at least five years of local Hong Kong fire engineering design, construction management or acceptance experience, familiar with the cross-departmental collaboration process of the Buildings Department, Fire Services Department and Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Department.

• Proficient in Hong Kong's current fire safety legislation, technical guidelines and international standards, and able to handle legal interpretation and compliance judgments independently.

• Have good writing and communication skills in Cantonese and English, be able to write technical reports, meeting minutes, and submit official documents to government departments.

• Have project coordination awareness and responsibility, be able to handle multiple engineering nodes at the same time, and respond to sudden acceptance requirements or legislative updates that may arise technical adjustments.
