Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving a heavy-duty truck or an engineering vehicle with valid '1' and '2' license plates, executing local goods transportation, construction site material delivery, and building waste removal tasks;
- Arrive at the designated loading and unloading point on time according to the company's dispatch schedule, and cooperate with warehouse or construction site personnel to complete goods loading and unloading and document delivery;
- Daily pre-trip vehicle inspection (including brakes, lights, tires, hydraulic system, reflective markers, etc.), ensuring compliance with the Hong Kong Road Traffic Ordinance and Transport Department safety requirements;
- Follow traffic regulations and company safety operating instructions, do not exceed the speed limit, do not drive while fatigued, and do not use a handheld phone. Actively participate in regular safety training and vehicle maintenance collaboration.
- Have at least three years of actual driving experience in heavy trucks or similar construction vehicles, familiar with the driving environment of Hong Kong's main highways, tunnels, container terminals, construction sites and restricted areas;
- Healthy body, good vision (corrective lenses can be worn), no epilepsy, severe heart disease, dizziness, etc. that affect safe driving, and able to adapt to long periods of sitting and outdoor high temperature/rainy weather;
- Have basic Cantonese communication skills, be able to clearly understand traffic instructions, customer orders and written delivery orders; those with basic English reading and writing skills are preferred (such as identifying English road signs and equipment labels);
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliable, and able to handle unexpected situations independently (such as temporary detours, simple mechanical parts abnormal sounds judgment), and willing to cooperate with shift work, night or weekend support arrangements.
