Pharmacist

Job Responsibilities

Provide professional drug consultation and guidance to patients, including drug action, usage method, possible side effects and precautions, to promote rational drug use and treatment compliance.
Participate in clinical pharmacy services, collaborate with doctors and nurses to conduct drug treatment evaluation, drug monitoring and case-specific pharmacological intervention to support the medical team in improving treatment quality.
Manage daily operations of the pharmacy, including drug inventory control, supply chain coordination, expiration date monitoring, temperature and humidity recording, and drug classification storage, to ensure drug quality and traceability.
Complete drug-related documents, adverse reaction reporting, internal audits, and application and verification materials required by the Health Bureau or relevant regulatory agencies.

Work requirements

Holding a valid registration qualification issued by the Hong Kong Pharmacy Management Committee and the statutory qualification to practice in Hong Kong; non-local graduates must have completed recognized internship and registration examinations.
Have at least two years of practical experience as a pharmacist in a hospital, community pharmacy or medical institution, familiar with the Hong Kong Pharmacy and Poisons Ordinance and related subsidiary legislation.
Have good communication skills and empathy, be able to clearly convey professional information in Cantonese, Mandarin and English; Solid writing skills, able to independently write drug evaluation reports and patient education materials.
Willing to continue their education, keep up with the latest knowledge on drug treatment, clinical guidelines updates, and digital pharmacy system applications, and have basic computer skills (such as electronic medical records, pharmacy management systems).
