Key Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership: Lead the creative process for multiple projects, developing innovative and sustainable landscape designs that align with client goals and project context.

• Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, planners, and civil engineers.

• Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships. Present design concepts and narratives effectively to clients, stakeholders, and the public.

• Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior and intermediate designers, fostering a collaborative and inspiring studio environment.

• Technical Oversight: Ensure design integrity through all phases, from schematic design to construction administration. Oversee the preparation of design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and presentations.

• Business Development: Contribute to proposals and participate in interviews to secure new projects. Identify opportunities to expand the firm’s portfolio and reach.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with a significant portfolio of built work demonstrating design excellence.

• Skills:

  • Exceptional design and graphic communication skills (hand sketching, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Proficiency in industry software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion/Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with BIM/Revit is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of planting design, materials, and construction methods.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead a team effectively.
