Job Description

As an interior design drafter, you will independently and collaboratively support the design team, contributing to the visualization and execution of residential projects:

According to the designer's residential project plan, independently produce a complete set of residential construction drawings (including floor plans, ceiling plans, elevation plans, details, etc.).

Independently draw and design furniture and joinery that is consistent with the residential design scheme.

Based on design concepts, create 3D visualization and rendering for residential interior projects.

Conduct on-site measurement and investigation, record dimensions and current conditions.

Assist in preparing a list of materials, file storage of drawings, and other design documents.

Communicate with the engineering and design team as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the details of the drawings.

Educational background

Diploma or above in interior design or related fields.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in interior design and construction drawing preparation; commercial or restaurant project drawing experience is an added bonus.

Technical skills

Proficient in CAD (AutoCAD), efficiently and accurately producing standardized construction drawings; familiar with SKP (SketchUp) for spatial modeling and rendering; familiar with ENS (Enscape) or other similar software for rendering and visualization; have the ability to read and create technical drawings, and understand basic indoor materials and construction methods.

Soft skills

Delicate and responsible, with high attention to details and accuracy of drawings; excellent communication skills and cooperative team spirit.

Language skills

Good English and Chinese oral and writing skills are preferred.
