Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the elderly to fill out various government welfare application forms, verify the required proof of documents (ID card, address proof, income proof, health evaluation report, etc.), and follow up on application progress, referring to relevant departments or social welfare institutions in due course.
- Regularly update policy knowledge, participate in internal training and cross-departmental collaborative meetings, and ensure that the information provided is in line with the latest legislative amendments and administrative guidance (such as the Social Welfare Bureau's latest announcement, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's elderly activity arrangements, etc.).
- Establish and maintain an elderly care service file (strictly abide by privacy regulations), record consultation highlights, support processes and follow-up matters, and submit service statistics and work reports as required.
- Have a college degree or above, majoring in social work, public administration, social sciences, nursing or related fields! Or those who have completed secondary seven with love and patience
- Have high empathy, emotional stability and persistence, be patient in responding to repeated questions, handling anxiety or confusion emotions, and respecting the autonomy and cultural differences of the elderly (including Cantonese, Mandarin and basic English communication skills).
- Have good oral expression, listening comprehension and written recording abilities; be able to handle multiple consultation tasks independently and collaborate with the team to promote elderly care activities.
- Must work in the Tseung Kwan O District; no criminal record.
