Job Title: Sichuanese Cuisine Chef

• Responsible for the full-scale cooking of Hunan cuisine, including ingredient selection, menu design, heat control, and flavor matching, to ensure the stable presentation of authentic spicy flavor and layered texture

• Coordinate daily kitchen operations, coordinate cutting and matching, stove, dishwashing, etc. various positions to cooperate, maintain a high-efficiency and orderly serving process

• Based on seasonal changes and customer feedback, regularly update and optimize Hunan cuisine menus, and develop creative and locally flavored new dishes

• Strictly enforce food safety and hygiene standards, supervise kitchen cleaning, food storage and utensil disinfection procedures, and ensure compliance with the Hong Kong Food Safety Ordinance

• Guide and train kitchen assistants and apprentice chefs, teach them Hunan cuisine cooking techniques and traditional seasoning knowledge, and enhance their team's professional level

• Have 3 to 5 years of regular Chinese restaurant kitchen experience, of which at least 2 years are dedicated to Sichuan cuisine, familiar with the craft of classic dishes such as chopped pepper fish head, spicy pork, and preserved meat steamed with vegetables

• Proficient in Cantonese communication, able to exchange with suppliers or mainland chefs in Mandarin, basic English ability can read food labels and simple written instructions

• Have the ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours and maintain product quality and service efficiency under high pressure

• Emphasize the natural flavor of ingredients and traditional techniques, while possessing a moderate sense of improvement, and be able to balance authentic flavor and Hong Kong diners’ acceptance

• Must cooperate with the restaurant's operational needs and accept flexible scheduling arrangements; those with valid Hong Kong work visas or those willing to apply for a visa with employer assistance will be given priority

• Monthly salary of HKD$20,000–$30,000, with competitive starting salary and continuous pay raises based on personal experience, technical proficiency, and performance

• Year-end bonuses are based on business performance and personal contributions, with flexible amounts. Outstanding employees may receive additional incentives.
