• Identify, evaluate and research on market trend and turn into insights to develop potential new pastry items opportunities;
• Innovative with strong analytical and planning and problem-solving;
• Assist in the development and renovation of new and existing bakery products;
• Responsible for the projection of food costs to meet the business forecast;
• Bridge commercial team with theproduct development, with cleararticulation of the product strategy and target audience.Integrate commercial team’s points of viewsandinfluencethe product development to achieve the commercial agenda;
• Conduct or supervise the testing of new products in test kitchen, the development of specific processing methods in chocolate and pastry;
• Coordinate and monitor the performance and evaluation of the sales of bakery;
• Handle special projects and other duties as required.

Requirements

• HigherDiploma or above in Food Science or related background;
• At least 3 years relevant working experience, preferably gained from food or catering industry;
• Knowledge in Hong Kong food legislation and requirements;
• Demonstrated an innovative, creative, self-motivated and able to develop new ideas / approaches;
• Proficient in MS Office & Chinese Word Processing;
• Good command of spoken and written in English and Chinese.
