Job Objective
Primarily responsible for assembling, modifying and dismantling scaffolding structures i.e. tubeless, Cupp lock, frame, trusses, staircases systems complete with accessories/fittings i.e. timber battening, wood floor and netting for the substructure, camera towers, bridges, arch and etc., at various projects site. Engagement is on a project basis with average terms of two to three (2 to 3) months.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Scaffolder Operation Manager for type of material, site plotting and logistic preparation based on Structure pack drawings, Packing list or job requisition form (JRF).
- Access to the work area for hazards and ensure ground conditions are stable.
- Coordinate with site supervisor and other trades for mobilization, installation and dismantle work at site.
- Transport scaffolding materials (tubes, boards, fitting etc) to the designated work site.
- Assemble scaffolding component and fittings according to the design specifications and safety standards.
- Ensure scaffolding is level, secure and stable.
- Install guardrail, toe boards, netting and ladders subject to the scope of works/location.
- Conduct regular inspections during and after erection.
- Identify and report damaged components or unsafe conditions.
- Safely dismantle scaffolding once work/usage has been completed.
- Ensure components are properly stored or return to warehouse, supplier or project site.
- Do material checking, maintenance and replace damage or worn components prior to start new project site.

Personal

- A willing attitude and an enjoyment of hard work.
- The ability to work longer hours at times is essential.
Technical
- Knowledge of scaffolding systems and understanding of different types of materials and fittings.
- Reading blueprints and technical drawing.
- Ability to handle PPE, tools, equipment and machinery for installation and dismantling works.
- English is essential with a second language an advantage.
Education and Experience
- High School, or Diploma in a related field.
- Scaffolder works experience would be an advantage.
- Construction or Event Industry experience an advantage.
- spoken English even if not native tongue
- 5 years and above event scaffolding experience
- experience working at international golf events would be preferable
- flexible working timeframes
- carpentry experience is required(in terms of scaffold cladding)
- experience of net cladding is required
