IT Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Act as the key liaison for IT and non-IT projects.
• Drive and oversee the complete project lifecycle, from setting objectives to execution.
• Guarantee projects adhere to timelines, milestones, and financial boundaries.
• Direct internal teams, offering guidance on task prioritization and issue resolution.
• Identify and address project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project timeline.
• Manage stakeholder expectations by providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and challenges.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and decision-making to align requirements and priorities.
• Ensure that implemented solutions meet functional, performance, and security standards.
• Supervise vendors to ensure the quality of deliverables.
• Design and oversee testing procedures to ensure smooth implementation.
• Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
• Mentor and empower team members to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Perform any additional duties necessary to achieve the firm's goals and objectives.

Qualifications / Person Specification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in technology project management, with a preference for system integration experience.
• Hands-on approach to resolving project issues.
• PMP or Prince 2 certification is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge and experience with Aderant suite of products, Intapp, and iManage is beneficial.
• Ability to communicate complex technologies to non-technical individuals and assist technical staff in understanding business requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Experience in change management.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong financial management skills, including budget planning and operational expense control.
• Discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (proficiency in Chinese is a plus but not required), with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external vendors.
