Position Overview:

As the Head of IT, you will lead the firm's technology team, responsible for the strategic planning and daily management of trading systems, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure, ensuring the technology platform is stable, secure, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the IT department, develop and execute IT strategy, and ensure high system availability and security.

Lead the operation, maintenance, and upgrade of core trading systems; must have hands-on experience in managing core system modules.

Be responsible for the cybersecurity framework, protecting against internal and external threats.

Ensure all IT systems and processes comply with SFC technology risk management and other regulatory requirements.

Lead IT projects, working closely with business departments (e.g., Risk, Compliance, Operations) to implement technical solutions.

(Optional) Act as the Manager-In-Charge (MIC) for the IT department.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in FinTech, with at least 3 years in a managerial IT role within a securities firm.

Proven experience in managing the operations of core trading systems (e.g., for HK/US stocks), familiar with their architecture and core technologies.

In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements, with experience in implementing system compliance.

Programming skills (e.g., Python, Java) are highly advantageous for effective communication with development teams.

Experience in a Mainland Chinese securities firm is a plus.

Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
