Position Overview:

This is a strategic leadership role for an Assistant Vice President to shape the direction and governance of our credit guarantee schemes. The AVP will be responsible for portfolio-level risk oversight, policy development, and representing the function at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight of the entire scheme portfolio, setting risk appetite and governance standards.
• Spearhead the development and refinement of scheme policies and procedures based on macroeconomic and portfolio trends.
• Present comprehensive risk reports and strategic recommendations to senior management and committees.
• Represent the organization in high-level negotiations with participating lenders and regulatory bodies.
• Drive innovation in risk modeling and analytical methodologies for the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Finance, MBA, or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 10+ years of extensive, relevant experience in a senior commercial banking, risk management, or advisory capacity.
• Deep, proven expertise in credit risk management and a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape for financial schemes.
• A distinguished track record of strategic leadership, people management, and influencing key business decisions.
• Outstanding executive-level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
