Illustrator & Creative Content Designer

Job Responsibilities

• Create original illustrations for books, magazines, digital media, advertising, and other commercial or artistic purposes using both traditional and digital techniques.

• Collaborate closely with art directors, editors, writers, marketing teams, and the director to develop concepts that align with project goals and brand aesthetics.

• Develop character designs, storyboards, layouts, and visual assets in accordance with client or creative team specifications.

• Revise and refine artwork based on feedback, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality final illustrations.

• Maintain a consistent style across series while adapting artistic approaches to suit different themes, audiences, or platforms.

• Support content creation including photography, video editing, and digital storytelling for social media and brand communications.

• Operate and experiment with AI creative tools to enhance workflows, generate concepts, and support multi-media projects.

• Accompany the director to document creative processes, daily routines, and behind-the-scenes moments for internal archives and public platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an illustrator with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles, mediums, and visual storytelling ability.

• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, and familiarity with video editing tools (Premiere, After Effects, or similar).

• Solid foundation in drawing, color theory, composition, proportion, and Japanese aesthetics, with a sharp eye for detail.

• Ability to multitask and manage projects in a fast-changing environment, balancing illustration, content creation, and digital production.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret briefs, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Degree in illustration, fine arts, graphic design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
