Job Description

We are seeking experienced and passionate IBDP Economics & Business Management tutors to join our team on a freelance or part-time basis. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the IBDP Economics & Business Management curriculum , strong familiarity with HONGKONG-based IB schools, and a proven track record of guiding students toward excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 1-to-1 or small group lessons for IBDP Economics & Business Management (SL/HL)
• Provide targeted support for exam revision, IAs and Exended Essays
• Guide students in understanding key concepts
• Mark and review students' essays, class practice, and other internal assessments
• Adapt teaching approach based on student needs and school-specific syllabus pacing
• Help students understand and apply IB exam rubrics and criteria
• Track student progress and provide feedback to parents if required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of IBDP Economics or Business Managemenet teaching/tutoring experience
• Familiar with syllabi taught in IB Schools in Hongkong.
• In-depth knowledge of IB assessment rubrics and frameworks
• Proven success in helping students achieve Level 6–7 grades
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Responsible, responsive, and able to commit consistently
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Management, Education, or relevant fields preferred

Preferred

• School teacher or IB-certified teachers highly valued
• Familiarity with IAs and EE in local IB schools
