Job Description:
As Foundation Cooperation and Development Manager, you will become the core driving force of our strategy development in the Hong Kong market. You will be responsible for formulating and implementing fundraising strategies for major foundations, corporations and family offices in Hong Kong, building and maintaining long-term and stable partnership relationships through in-depth communication and value co-creation. Your work will directly determine the breadth and depth of our community services and is a key link in realizing our social mission.
Main responsibilities:
• Strategy planning and execution: Responsible for developing, implementing and optimizing the annual fundraising strategy and budget for the Hong Kong region to achieve or exceed fundraising targets.
• Fundraising and partnership negotiations: Actively identify, develop and maintain partnerships with Hong Kong foundations, corporate social responsibility departments (CSR), family offices and other major donors.
• Proposal writing and submission: Lead the writing of high-quality fundraising proposals, project proposals, cooperation agreements, and annual reports, clearly communicating our mission, influence, and funding needs.
• Relationship maintenance and management: Responsible for daily communication and relationship deepening with important donation partners, ensuring partner satisfaction and achieving sustainable and growth-oriented cooperative relationships.
• Market insight and network building: In-depth research on the Hong Kong charity and public welfare ecosystem, analysis of potential donors’ interests and strategic directions, and proactive expansion and maintenance of personal networks in the public and business sectors.
• Collaborative project follow-up: Follow up on the progress of collaborative projects, regularly provide project outcome reports to partners, and showcase the cost-effectiveness and social impact of funds.
• Cross-departmental collaboration: Work closely with the project execution team to ensure that fundraising goals and project needs are precisely matched, and provide resource linkage support to the team.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above, marketing, public relations, sociology, business management or related professional preferred.
• Have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Hong Kong's non-profit organizations, foundations, corporate social responsibility (CSR) or high-end sales/large customer management field.
• Solid fundraising performance record, successful in raising large amounts of funds or establishing important partnership relationships for the organization.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and proposal writing skills, able to clearly and persuasively communicate information to senior decision-makers.
• Excellent strategic thinking, market analysis skills and project management skills, able to independently plan and execute complex fundraising projects.
• Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin, with excellent written and oral expression skills.
• Familiar with the Hong Kong Foundation operation model, charity laws and social welfare field will be given priority.
