Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategically-minded Chief Information Officer (CIO) or IT Director to lead our global Information Technology strategy, operations, and team. The success of this role hinges on proven expertise in Post-Merger Integration (PMI), with the ability to spearhead complex IT integration projects that achieve technology synergy, data unification, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional English communication skills to collaborate effectively within a global environment. Experience in Southeast Asia or in leading international expansion projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a global IT strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Lead the IT organization, fostering a high-performing and innovative team culture.

  • M&A Integration (Core Responsibility): Own the IT due diligence, integration planning, and execution for mergers and acquisitions. Lead the integration, migration, and optimization of critical systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, Finance, Manufacturing). Manage technical risks and ensure business continuity throughout the integration lifecycle.

  • Systems & Architecture Management: Oversee the company's enterprise technology architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Evaluate and implement new technologies to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

  • Business Partnership: Act as a key strategic partner to business units, translating business needs into technology solutions that support objectives and enhance operational productivity.

  • Global Operations & Collaboration: Manage and coordinate multi-national/regional IT operations, vendors, and initiatives. Utilize excellent English proficiency for cross-cultural communication and for presenting to senior leadership and the board.

  • Risk Management & Security: Establish robust IT governance, risk management, and cybersecurity frameworks to ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of global data and systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Essential Experience:

    • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., CIO, IT Director, Senior IT Program Manager).

    • Demonstrated, hands-on experience in leading multiple end-to-end Post-Merger Integration (PMI) initiatives, with the ability to present specific case studies and measurable outcomes.

    • Proven experience managing IT strategy and operations within a complex, multi-business unit, or global organization.

    • Superior English Skills: Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory, with demonstrated ability in negotiation, presentation, and executive-level communication.

  • Highly Desirable Experience:

    • Practical experience in managing IT operations, projects, or integrations within the Southeast Asia region, or a proven track record in supporting the technology infrastructure for a company's international expansion ("going global").

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of enterprise architecture (ERP, CRM, Cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, Data Management).

    • Project Management: Outstanding project and program management skills, with expertise in budget, timeline, and resource management.

    • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership to inspire and develop teams; excellent communication and influencing skills to articulate technology strategy to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen: Ability to translate business requirements into a technology roadmap and articulate the business value of IT investments.

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
