Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Clinical Scientist to lead the research and development activities in Hong Kong for innovative needle-free injection devices designed for cattle and sheep. This role will lead material compatibility studies, biosafety assessments, prototype optimization, and clinical validation to ensure product safety, performance, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Test materials for compatibility with veterinary vaccines.

• Conduct cytotoxicity, irritation, and sensitization evaluations.

• Optimize corrosion resistance, high-pressure resistance, and cleaning performance.

• Support prototype fabrication and process improvements.

• Conduct clinical observation, sample collection, and quality control of immunization trial data.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Veterinary Medicine, Biotechnology, Immunology, or a related scientific discipline.

• Experience in medical device or veterinary product research and development.

• Strong knowledge of biomaterials, biocompatibility testing, and material compatibility assessments.

• Hands-on experience with biosafety evaluations, including cytotoxicity, irritation, and sensitization studies.

• Familiarity with prototype development, laboratory testing, and product validation.

• Experience supporting clinical or animal studies, including data collection and quality control.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
