Major Responsibilities

• Lead the Cloud design, technical governance, security configuration, implementing best practices for networking, and compliance to provide cloud foundation layer for multi-cloud workloads

• Lead the global cloud transit network architecture based on a hub-and-spoke connectivity model where are geographically interconnected with remote users, region on premise data centres and SaaS services

• Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.

• Conduct architecture reviews, approval and root cause analysis for complex issues and develop strategies for security baseline, governance, resilience, disaster recovery, cloud portability and exit in seamless multi-cloud environment

• Review the data architecture pattern (Data Collection, Ingestion and processing) using seamless integrations to a variety of AL Model development such as pub Sub, CloudRun, Cloud storage, Kafka, BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI etc

• Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives, resource forecasting, business Case development/TCO, application assessment, and migration planning, and efficient cloud management strategies across multi-Cloud services

• Collaborate with Cloud platform engineering and stakeholder teams to define and implement best practices in multi-cloud architecture, deployment, governance and project

• Regularly evaluate new cloud standard design pattern, approved cloud services catalogue and security policy

• Independently lead design workshops and delivery complex projects with public cloud native services

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent in covering the following:

• 5+ years' experience with public cloud architecture, cloud strategy (Azure / AWS/Google/ Alibaba Cloud)

• Positive attitude and strong technical skills, with being capability to effective communication and collaboration across organization

• Deep understanding of landing zone architecture, cloud networking and cloud security concepts to apply automation repositories, DevOps Pipeline, Identity and access management, security control, access management, network security, billing, cost management, monitoring and logging

• Understanding of cybersecurity framework, AI Security and cloud security governance frameworks

• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting public cloud environment

• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate cloud design services to DevOps engineering, platform engineering, security, compliance teams and stakeholder teams in Chinese and English
