The Role

We are looking for a proactive Operations Assistant to support daily order fulfillment for customer, a fast-growing French online furniture shop. You will act as the key link between our factories (Asia), customers (France), and freight forwarders, working closely with our teams in China and Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

· Production Coordination: Communicate with Asian factories on production schedules, quality checks, and shipment readiness.

· Customer Support: Liaise with Customer’s team and end customers regarding order status, delivery timelines, and after-sales issues.

· Logistics: Coordinate with freight forwarders for sea/air shipments, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery to France.

· Documentation: Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.

· Problem Solving: Handle delays, damages, or returns with proactive solutions.

Requirements

· Experience: 1–3 years in operations, supply chain, or an administrative role (furniture or e-commerce is a plus).

· Language: Fluent English (mandatory) – French is a plus but not required. Mandarin/Cantonese is a big plus for factory communication.

· Skills: Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; basic knowledge of international shipping (Incoterms) is an advantage.

· Mindset: Highly organized, able to work across time zones (Asia/Europe), and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
