Position Overview

We are seeking a senior commercial insurance leader to drive our corporate liability and Financial Lines practice in Hong Kong. This role will lead business development, build client relationships, and oversee Hong Kong operations with full P&L accountability. The role also carries regulatory responsibilities as required under the Insurance Ordinance.

Key Responsibilities

1.Drive corporate liability insurance business in Hong Kong, with a focus on Financial Lines (D&O, PI/E&O, Financial Institutions Liability, Cyber, and more)

2.Acquire corporate clients and referral channels; lead needs analysis, solution design, quoting and negotiations

3.Liaise with insurers, manage renewals, coordinate claims handling and achieve business targets

4.Ensure all business activities comply with the Insurance Ordinance and regulatory requirements

5.Recruit, retain and lead a high-performing Hong Kong team

6.Establish workflows, KPIs and professional development plans

7.Foster a performance-driven, accountable culture

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above

2. Minimum5 years'experience in the Hong Kong general insurance market (broker or insurer side), withat least 2 yearsin team management

3. Proven ability to independently develop corporate clients and achieve business targets

4. Fluent inMandarin and Cantonese(English is a plus)

Preferred

1. Proven experience in the Hong Kong Financial Lines market (D&O, PI, W&I, etc.).

2. Existing client or channel resources (listed companies, private equity funds, investment banks, law firms, etc.).

3. Verifiable experience in business development for Hong Kong corporate insurance brokerage.

4. Previous employment in the liability insurance teams of international brokers such as Aon, Marsh, Willis, Lockton or Howden.
