Job Description
Responsibilities
Provide psychological counselling, including those with special educational needs (SEN), individually or in groups
Utilise accurate and appropriate assessment procedures for determining and structuring individual counselling plans
Conduct qualified psychological assessments in need
Handle crises related to client’s psychological problems
Work outside normal office hours and on weekends if necessary
Requirements
A recognised degree or above in counselling or equivalent disciplines
At least 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience
A sound knowledge about and well versed in managing client’ mental distress and facilitating their personal development
A caring, empathic, optimistic and responsible disposition
An excellent mastery of interpersonal communication, problem-solving skills, and teamwork relation
A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
A high calibre to work under tight timelines with a positive attitude
A holder of membership in the relevant professional society is an advantage
