We are seeking an experienced Customs Manager to oversee import/export operations and ensure compliance with customs regulations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling meat imports, managing documentation, and liaising with customs authorities to facilitate smooth logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong customs regulations for meat imports and exports

• Prepare and manage customs documentation, including import permits and declarations

• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs officials to ensure timely clearance

• Monitor tariff classifications, duties, and taxes applicable to imported meat products

• Handle disputes or delays related to customs clearance and resolve regulatory issues

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs filings, and compliance reports

• Stay updated on changes in import/export laws and advise management accordingly

• Optimize customs processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Higher Diploma degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in customs management, preferably in the food or meat industry

• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong customs laws, import tariffs, and trade regulations

• Experience working with customs brokers and government agencies

• Proficiency in customs software and documentation systems

• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
