Position name: Network and Technology Insurance Underwriter (Underwriter, Cyber & Technology Practice)

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for network security and technology-related insurance business underwriting, including new business approval, renewal management, and risk assessment

• Based on the company's established underwriting guidelines and authorization scope, conduct a comprehensive review and analysis of the application materials (such as security architecture, business model, historical loss records, and third-party risk evaluation reports), and independently judge the insurability and underwriting conditions of the risk

• Actively contact brokers and insurance intermediaries, clarify technical details and insurance needs, and complete the insurance application response and scheme recommendations within the specified time limit

• For cases beyond individual authorization, submit them to higher authorities or cross-departmental collaborative units for joint evaluation and decision-making according to the procedure

• Maintain and deepen professional relationships with broker channels, technology enterprise customers and partners, and support target market expansion and key customer operations

• Actively promote the Group's network risk solution, innovative products and value-added services, and enhance customer value awareness and market penetration rate

• Collaborate with the underwriting team on daily administrative support, process optimization, and internal knowledge sharing, and provide assistance with training junior colleagues as necessary

Work requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Security, Computer Science, Risk Management or related fields

• Have at least 4 years of relevant experience; Accept those with no traditional insurance background, but they must have solid IT practical experience (such as system management, security consulting, cloud architecture, software development, IT auditing, etc.), and demonstrate their understanding of the essence of network risks

• Familiarity with common network threats (such as ransomware, supply chain attacks, API vulnerabilities), defense control measures (such as MFA, EDR, SOC operations), and international standards (such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF) is particularly desirable

• Mature and stable, self-disciplined and proactive, clear and logical, with independent work ability and high sense of responsibility

• Have excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, and be able to explain complex risk issues in a professional and easily understandable way to non-technical background partners

• Proficient in writing and speaking English and Cantonese; fluent in Mandarin is an added bonus

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. office software, with basic data processing and presentation skills

• Holding a valid Hong Kong permanent resident identity, or meeting the eligibility criteria for the "High-end Talent Pass Program" (TTPS), "Outstanding Talent Program" (QMAS), "Non-local Graduates Hong Kong/Return Employment Arrangement" (IANG), "Dependent Visa" or other legal work visa
