<p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Technical design and implementation of database for a large-scale mission critical web application system.</li> <li>Support on data analysis and modelling, database definitions and design.</li> <li>Database performance tuning, monitoring and administration.</li> <li>System documentation.</li> <li>Technical training.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or related disciplines</li> <li>At least 12 years of IT working experiences, among them 8 years or above of experiences in database administration and/or database design.</li> <li>Conversant with Oracle Database (19c or above), Data Guard and Real Application Clusters (RAC) design, configuration, tuning and administration in Linux platform.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing databases.</li> <li>Proficient in database schema design, normalization, and indexing; able to create and manage data models and ER diagrams.</li> <li>Skilful in optimizing database performance, including query optimization and indexing strategies, and troubleshooting database issues using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager.</li> <li>Knowledge of database security practices, including user management, encryption, and access control.</li> <li>Advantageous if with exposures to Oracle GoldenGate and/or Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall.</li> <li>Understanding of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.</li> <li>Comfortable to collaborate with others working as a team.</li> <li>Good communication skill in both spoken and written English and Chinese.<br><br></li> </ul> <p>Personal data provided by job applicants will be used strictly in accordance with the employer's personal data policies and for recruitment purposes only.</p>
