Job Description

Position: Project Coordination and Venue Operation Officer

Client / Employer: Advance Resources Personnel Consultants Ltd.

Contract period: 12 months

Working Location: North Point

Salary: HK$125.00 per hour

Working hours: 5-day work week, 09:15 - 18:15, Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning & Execution: Assist in planning and conducting a wide range of events, including accessible services, exhibition openings, guided tours, and fun fairs.

  • Logistics & Operations Management: Follow up on all logistical aspects, ensuring adequate labour, equipment, and materials for the smooth execution of events and programmes.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise and coordinate with internal and external partners, including government departments, contractors, schools, and community organizations, to ensure seamless daily venue operation and event delivery.

  • Administrative & Financial Support: Provide comprehensive support in administrative, financial, procurement, and contract management matters.

  • Content & Communications: Assist in preparing publicity materials for digital and print media, manage social media channels (Facebook, Instagram), and perform simple photo/video editing.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare bilingual documents such as meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations using MS Office Suite.

  • Team & Resource Management: Assist in equipment/storage management and potentially coordinate with gallery ambassadors/docents.

  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.

Position Requirements:

  • Academic Background: A Bachelor's degree or above from a recognised university in Cultural Management, Art Administration, Event Management, Property/Facility Management, Chinese/English Language, or a related discipline.

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of full-time, post-qualification experience in property/facility management, event management, or public relations, including relevant administrative duties.

    • Note: Experience gained during full-time studies, internships, sales/marketing, or academic research is not counted.

    • Experience in a local museum, art/cultural organisation, or similar is a distinct advantage.

  • Language & Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese; good command of Putonghua.

    • Fast and accurate English and Chinese typing skills.

    • High computer literacy, particularly with MS Office.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Level 3 or above in Chinese & English Language in HKDSE, or Level 3 / Grade D or above in HKCEE.

    • Knowledge in staff/gallery operation management.

    • Strong interpersonal skills for handling enquiries and complaints.

    • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, video editing software, and social media management tools is an advantage.
