ABOUT THE ROLE

As a key player in our fast-paced startup environment, we are looking for a passionate Senior Product Designer who thinks beyond traditional industrial design. You will be the creative force behind our signature lifestyle products and high-profile brand collaborations.

You are not just making objects; you are transforming local waste streams into avant-garde, highly desirable lifestyle pieces. You will bridge the gap between raw, upcycled plastic materials and cutting-edge production techniques like injection molding, 3D printing, and CNC machine operation.

Because we are a startup, you will need to be hands-on, highly adaptable, and ready to take real ownership of your projects from day one.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• End-to-End Product Design Lead:

  Lead the conceptualization, 3D modeling, and physical prototyping for REVO's signature lifestyle products and brand collaborations.

• Workflow & Production Management:

  Oversee the complete product design workflow—from initial sketch and prototyping to tooling and final manufacturing procedures. Ensure premium quality control and strict adherence to project deadlines.

• Material Innovation:

  Work hands-on in our workshop to push the limits of custom up-cycled plastic materials, utilizing 3D printing, UV printing, and CNC machine operations.

• Partner & Supplier Collaboration:

  Source, assess, and manage relationships with external manufacturing partners, tooling factories, and material suppliers to bring complex, high-profile collaborations to life smoothly.

• Cross-Functional Alignment:

  Partner closely with our branding, marketing and partnership teams to ensure the product's narrative perfectly aligns with our bold, confident brand voice.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience:

  6+ years of experience in product design, industrial design, or a relevant creative field. Experience in fashion, streetwear, or trending lifestyle brands is a massive advantage.

• Vision & Passion:

  A genuine passion to shape a better life and future. You care deeply about the impact of your work and are driven to create meaningful, sustainable change through cool, and high-end design with fine finishing.

• Startup Mindset:

  Highly proactive, resilient, and comfortable navigating the ambiguity, resourcefulness, and fast-paced nature of a growing startup.

• Workflow & Manufacturing Expertise:

  Strong, proven knowledge of the comprehensive product design workflow and industrial manufacturing procedures (e.g., injection molding, extrusion, tooling, and assembly).

• Material Mastery:

  Deep understanding of plastic materials, polymer behavior, and the specific nuances of working with recycled/upcycled composites.

• Partner Management:

  Demonstrated experience dealing directly with external vendors, factories, and brand partners to negotiate capabilities, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure quality.

• Technical Skills:

  Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks, Blender) and Adobe Creative Suite or other tool to enhance the efficiency of product development.

• Hands-on Maker:

  Proven experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printers. You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty in the workshop.

• Design Aesthetic:

  A strong portfolio demonstrating a bold, unconventional, and highly refined design sense.

• Language:

  Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

• Chief Product Designer Consideration:

  Candidates possessing 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, a deeply established industry network, significant market influence, and the gravitas to act as a public-facing ambassador for the brand will be considered for the elevated role of Chief Product Designer.
