Main Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Research and development support for advanced AI models and large-scale data analysis, including distributed architecture prototype design for real-time data processing;
- Research and develop high-performance solutions for AI applications' concurrency and scalability challenges (such as multi-language persistence, network optimization);
- Prototype microservices and container technology (such as Kubernetes), build infrastructure to enhance AI training/inference and data analysis efficiency;
- Apply advanced design patterns (such as Domain-Driven Design DDD, Clean Architecture) in R&D projects to build innovative backend frameworks that support AI workflows.
• To conduct R&D on scalable backend systems for advanced AI models and large-scale data analytics, including prototyping distributed architectures for real-time data processing;
• To research and develop high-performance solutions for concurrency and scalability challenges in AI applications (e.g., polyglot persistence, network optimisations);
• To prototype microservices and container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) to build infrastructures that enhances AI training/inference and data analytics efficiency; and
• To apply advanced design patterns (e.g., Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture) in R&D projects to create innovative backend frameworks for AI workflows.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or above in Computer Science or related fields (must come from QS, Shanghai Ranking, Times Higher Education or USNWR's latest rankings of the top 100 global universities in the STEM field), with at least 1 year of work experience, and those with a Master's or Doctoral degree do not need work experience;
- Familiar with emerging backend languages (Rust, Kotlin, Scala), as well as those with architectural experience in areas such as audio and video processing, game servers, financial core systems or large model inference platforms;
- Have from "0 to 1" system building or traffic from millions to billions of successful cases, open source contributors or maintainers (GitHub link required) are preferred.
Master's degree or above in Computer Science or related disciplines with at least 1 year of working experience. Working experience is not compulsory for Master's/Doctoral degree holders;
• With experience in emerging backend languages (Rust, Kotlin, Scala) as well as Architecture exposure in audio/video processing, game servers, financial core systems, or large-scale model inference platforms is preferred; and
• With proven track record of leading systems from "0→1" or scaling from millions to billions in traffic. Skilled with Open-source Contributor or Maintainer (GitHub profile required) is preferred.
Note: Such degree-holders should be from a well-recognised university, which is among the top 100 universities for STEM-related subjects in the latest publication of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai Jiao Tong University) (also known as Shanghai Ranking), Times Higher Education or U.S. News and World Report's Best Global Universities Rankings (USNWR).
