Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) Developer Requirement

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developerto join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and enhancing Business Central solutions to support our business operations and digital transformation goals. You will work closely with consultants, business users, and technical teams to deliver high-quality and scalable ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize D365 Business Centralusing AL language and extensions.

• Design, build, test, and deploy Business Central modules, integrations, and customizations.

• Customize tables, pages, reports, codeunits, APIs, and web services.

• Integrate Business Central with external systems using API, OData, REST, SOAP, or middleware.

• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure stable production operations.

• Participate in solution design, technical documentation, and code reviews.

• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Support upgrades, migrations, and version management for BC.

Required Technical Skills

Core Skills

• Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV development.

• Proficiency in:

  • AL language(Business Central)

  • VS Code development environment

  • Extensions (v2), AppSource packaging

• Understanding of BC architecture, event-based programming, and extension-based development.

Integration & Data Skills

• Experience with:

• API / Web services development (OData, REST, SOAP)

• Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Power Automate (preferred)

• JSON, XML, CSV data formats

• Experience building interfaces to external systems(CRM, eCommerce, WMS, POS, etc.)

ERP Functional Knowledge

(Depending on your role, keep or remove this part)

• Familiarity with core BC modules:

• Finance, Sales, Purchasing

• Inventory & Warehouse

• Manufacturing (optional)

• Understanding of business processes and workflow behavior in BC.

Tooling & Platform

• Experience with Git , DevOps pipelines, or CI/CD (Azure DevOps preferred).

• Knowledge of Dockerand BC container environments is a plus.

• Familiarity with Power Platform(Power Apps / Power Automate) is a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

• Minimum 2–5 yearsrelevant experience in D365 BC or NAV development.

• Microsoft certification in Business Central is a plus but not required.

• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑moving environment.

Mandarin, Cantonese & English ( Trilingual ).

• Understand Business Central's processes and workflow logic
