Job Overview:

• Responsible for shop/store renovation and engineering project management, especially coordinating and managing contractors, material supply and cross-border engineering support from the mainland to ensure project quality, acceptance compliance and schedule achievement. Responsibilities focus on project management, contractor supervision, quality control and cross-border coordination, rather than specific construction operations.

Main responsibilities:

1. Develop a construction schedule, supervise contractor execution and progress control.

2. Communicate with mainland contractors and material suppliers, coordinate procurement, transportation, customs clearance and installation and commissioning.

3. Execute quality checks and acceptance procedures, compile engineering reports and defect follow-up.

4. Ensure that the project complies with Hong Kong building, fire and health-related regulations (consultant/contractor to handle compliance matters).

5. Manage engineering costs, evaluate and negotiate construction contracts and payment arrangements.

6. Organize cross-border technical support and on-site coordination, and arrange for mainland technicians to come to Hong Kong for short-term support of installation or debugging.

Requirements:

1. College degree or above (or equivalent experience).

3. Able to read Mandarin files and directly contact mainland contractors in Mandarin; have contract management and cost control abilities.

4. Familiar with Hong Kong's interior decoration compliance process (Building Department/Fire Department/Eating and Hygiene, etc. related procedures) is preferred.

5. Good communication, negotiation and on-site management skills, able to arrange mainland teams to come to Hong Kong for collaboration.
