Our client is a chinese fast-growing, globalising new energy company with strong positions in the battery / energy storage value chain. They are preparing for a Hong Kong IPO targeted in coming years and are now strengthening our their leadership team to drive fundraising, investor relations and pre-IPO readiness.

The Role

This is a high-impact Director-level position reporting to senior leadership. You will play a central role in shaping and executing in capital raising strategy and preparing the company for a successful Hong Kong listing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end fundraising activities (equity, strategic investment, pre-IPO rounds) to support growth and the 2028 Hong Kong IPO roadmap

• Build and manage relationships with institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, global energy / new energy strategic investors, and top-tier investment banks

• Drive the preparation of the equity story, financial model, investment thesis and pre-IPO materials

• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams (finance, legal, operations, IR) required for IPO readiness

• Support valuation discussions, term sheet negotiations and deal execution

• Contribute to the company’s international expansion narrative and investor communication strategy

• Build and lead a small high-calibre capital markets / IR team

What We Are Looking For (Must-have)

• Proven track record in first-tier new energy / lithium battery / energy storage companies

• Hands-on experience leading or playing a core role in large-scale fundraising, pre-IPO, or IPO processes (preferably Hong Kong or major international markets)

• Demonstrable experience with overseas large projects, cross-border M&A, or direct engagement with global energy majors / sovereign investors

• Ability to operate at a senior level in a fast-moving, international environment and lead teams effectively

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin; strong presentation and negotiation skills with sophisticated investors

What We Are Looking For (Preferred)

• Previous experience in a company that has successfully listed (or is actively preparing to list) in Hong Kong or other major markets

• Existing network among top-tier global new energy investors, sovereign funds or strategic corporate investors

• Strong understanding of the global battery / energy storage supply chain and capital market dynamics
