WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer, Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) to join our semiconductor fabrication team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain the factory's power distribution system and networks, such as switch gears, power generators and UPSs system.
• Arrange annual testing of the systems to fulfil HK Government regulation requirement.
• Formulate the tender document for hiring contractors for system maintenance, and new installation.
• Carry out and arrange regular preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and improvement works of centralised equipment such as Clean Dry Air systems, Exhaust systems, HVAC, cleanroom (including FFUs, MAUs and cooling coil), Fire Service Installation (FSI) and other E&M system in MRDI to provide an un-interrupted production operation.
• Maintain all systems at the optimal conditions to ensure the performance of those systems achieve highest operation standard.
• Keep all documentation and records of the system maintenance and formulate the correspondence Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the related works to facilitate ISO 9001 application and renewal.
• Participate in the emergency response during emergency situations, and work with safety team to resolve the problem.
• Prepare yearly budget plan for maintenance and improvement work, conduct cost saving evaluation and execution.
• Perform administrative support and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Building Service or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with Grade A/B certificate for an electrical worker license issued by EMSD.
• Familiar with high and low voltage electrical switch boards and electrical system installation, maintenance, testing.
• Familiar with power generator, UPS, general electrical and fire protection systems.
• Understand electrical schematics and control diagrams, and proficient in using AutoCAD software.
• Familiar with safety regulation or with experience of cleanroom operation have advantage.
• Willing to participate in factory operations with shifts duty.
• Good command in English and Chinese (both Putonghua and Cantonese).

Note: Candidate with less experience will also be considered for junior position.

The initial employment contract spans 12 months and can be renewed with a longer tenure upon mutual agreement of the incumbent and MRDI. The incumbent will normally work five days a week. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A gratuity of 15% of the salary will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of the contract.
