Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing comprehensive and continuous primary medical services, covering common diseases and chronic diseases in adults and children (such as hypertension and diabetes), acute and mild disease treatment and health evaluation.
- Perform daily outpatient consultations at clinics and community venues, follow clinical guidelines for collecting patient histories, performing physical examinations, making diagnostic judgments and providing treatment, and properly record electronic medical records.
- Participate in outreach doctor services
- Collaborate with nurses, social workers, physical therapists, etc. in a cross-professional team to develop individualized care plans for patients with complex health or social needs, and promote an integrated service model centered on the patient.
- Collaborate with the Department of Health or non-profit organizations on public health projects, participate in disease surveillance, health promotion activity planning and primary medical referral and coordination work.
- Holding a Hong Kong Medical Council-recognized medical qualification, registered as a practicing doctor, and with a family medicine specialty qualification or undergoing family medicine specialty training (MRCP/GP/FFPHK or equivalent qualification is preferred).
- Able to independently handle common illnesses and multiple coexisting diseases in a stable state, with good clinical judgment, communication skills and cultural sensitivity, especially good at interacting with the elderly, children and diverse background families.
- Familiar with local electronic medical record systems (such as eHRSS) operations, with basic information technology application skills; able to cooperate with outreach service arrangements flexible work hours and transportation arrangements.
