As a seller's stock trader, you will directly serve Asian and global financial institution customers, responsible for receiving, executing and managing customers' stock trading instructions (with a focus on Hong Kong stocks, A-shares, etc.). You are not only the executor of the order, but also the strategic partner of the customer, who needs to provide timely market liquidity information, trading strategy advice, and closely cooperate with the company's internal research and sales teams to create maximum value for the customer.

Main responsibilities

• Customer order execution and management: Execute customer stock trading instructions through phone or other means in a professional, accurate, and timely manner.

• Customer relationship maintenance: Establish and maintain long-term, stable cooperative relationships with designated institutional customers, and deeply understand their trading habits, investment styles and needs.

• Market liquidity provision: Provide competitive bilateral quotes to customers and use the company's own capital (if applicable) or extensive counterparty network to find the best liquidity for customer orders, reducing market impact costs.

• Market insight and communication: Provide real-time market dynamics, key order flow information, and in-depth views from the company's internal research team to help customers make investment decisions.

• Cross-departmental collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with stock salespeople, analysts, operations and compliance departments to ensure efficient and compliant execution of the entire trading process.

• Qualifications and credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, finance, economics, business or related fields are preferred.

• Work experience:

  • 2-8 years of experience in stock sales trading, trade execution or related work at brokers, hedge funds or asset management companies.

  • Must have experience serving agency clients, familiar with the trading process and needs of institutional clients.

  • Having solid knowledge and trading experience in the Hong Kong and A-share stock markets.

• Skills and qualities:

  • Fluent Mandarin & English communication skills, able to communicate with customers and international teams in a professional and clear manner.

  • Outstanding digital sensitivity, rapid response ability, and decision-making ability under high pressure.

  • Excellent customer service awareness, interpersonal skills and team spirit.
