Company introduction

Duties include:

1. Based on the company's overall strategy, formulate the investment strategy and planning of Web3 business (blockchain, cryptocurrency, DeFi, NFT, GameFi, RWA, etc.), clearly define the investment direction, key areas and phased goals;

2. Lead the discovery and preliminary screening of potential Web3 projects, organize internal and external teams to conduct a comprehensive due diligence (financial, legal, technical, compliance, etc.);

3. Provide professional investment advice to the company's decision-making layer, participate in investment decision-making meetings; after the investment decision is passed, be responsible for investment agreement negotiation, transaction structure design, signature and execution;

4. Responsible for post-investment management, including project integration, resource matching, and value enhancement, to ensure that investment projects are smoothly implemented and achieve expected returns;

5. Track global and Hong Kong cryptocurrency regulatory policy changes, provide compliance advice and risk warnings to the company's Web3 business.

Job Requirements

1. Global well-known university Master's degree or above in finance, economics, law, computer science or related fields, those who graduated from a domestic 985 or QS top 50 university are preferred;

2. Have more than 3 years of experience in cryptocurrency or digital asset quantification/primary market investment management, with a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency industry ecosystem, Hong Kong virtual asset supervision policy (SFC, VASP license, etc.), and market operation rules;

3. Applicants with work experience in Hong Kong's Chinese institutions (public funds, insurance asset management, securities firms, family offices) are preferred; those with rich Web3 project resources and deal flow are preferred;

4. Fluent English and Mandarin, with Cantonese ability preferred;

5. Excellent negotiation and execution skills, able to independently complete complex transactions; Solid financial, legal and business due diligence capabilities, able to effectively identify and avoid risks; Excellent strategic thinking, able to provide forward-looking investment advice to the company; Strong stress resistance ability, able to adapt to the rapid change of Web3 industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop the overall Web3 investment strategy and roadmap (covering blockchain, DeFi, NFTs, GameFi, RWA, etc.) in alignment with the group’s strategic objectives;

2. Source and screen potential Web3 investment opportunities globally, lead comprehensive due diligence (financial, legal, technical, and regulatory);

3. Provide investment recommendations to the decision-making committee, participate in final investment decisions; lead deal negotiation, transaction structuring, and closing upon approval;

4. Oversee post-investment management, portfolio integration, value enhancement, and exit planning to ensure targeted returns;

5. Monitor Hong Kong and global crypto regulatory developments (SFC VASP regime, etc.) and provide compliance and risk guidance for the Web3 business line.

Requirements

1. Master’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or related disciplines from a globally renowned university; first degree from C9/985 (China) or QS Top 50 university strongly preferred;

2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on investment experience in cryptocurrency/digital assets (quantitative or primary market preferred), with in-depth knowledge of the crypto ecosystem, Hong Kong regulatory framework, and market dynamics;

3. Prior experience in mainland Chinese financial institutions in Hong Kong (public funds, insurance asset management, brokerages, family offices) is highly advantageous; strong existing Web3 deal flow and network preferred;

4. Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese proficiency is a plus;

5. Proven track record of leading complex transactions independently, strong financial, legal, and business DD capabilities, excellent strategic thinking, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
