This role will be responsible for managing the financial planning, analysis, and performance monitoring of IT investments and operations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between Finance and Technology, ensuring financial transparency, cost efficiency, and strategic alignment of IT initiatives.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br>Tech Financial Planning & Analysis<br>• Assist with the IT expense budgeting and forecasting processes for IT departments.<br>• Monitor and analyze IT spending against budget, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.<br>• Partner with IT leadership to align financial and FTE plans with strategic technology initiatives.<br><br>Tech Cost Management & Optimization<br>• Partner with Finance and Asia IT Finance to track and manage IT operating and capital expenditures.<br>• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support implementation of efficiency initiatives.<br>• Prepare monthly management reports and KPI tracking for technology senior management and regional office stakeholders.<br><br>Tech Labor Resource Management & Reporting<br>• Manage financial tracking and reporting of internal and external IT labor resources.<br>• Monitor headcount, contractor utilization, and labor cost allocations.<br>• Provide insights and presentations to support workforce planning and resource optimization.<br><br>Process Improvement & Innovation<br>• Contribute to the implementation of new processes and tools.<br>• Explore automation opportunities to streamline workflows.<br>• Drive operational efficiencies and reporting enhancements across IT Finance.<br><br>Business Partnering<br>• Act as a trusted advisor to IT and business leaders on financial matters.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases for new technology investments.<br>• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.<br><br>Qualifications<br>• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.<br>• CA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualifications are desired.<br>• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in insurance industry or technology finance.<br>• Strong understanding of IT cost structures, project accounting, and capital vs. operating expense treatment.<br>• Proficiency in the use of computing technology, including:<br>• - Microsoft PowerPoint for executive presentations<br>• - Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros/VBA)<br>• - Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus<br>• Sound analytical and organizational skills are highly valuable.<br>• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</p>
