Huayu Fintech Co., Limited is one of the subsidiaries wholly owned by HY International Holdings Limited. This role will play a key role in supporting the CFO in relation to various financial and regulatory reporting and financial operation control.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting duties including handling daily transactions of payments and receipts, book-keeping and other internal reconciliations, etc.

• Prepare month-end closing, monthly financial reports, and monthly regulatory reporting, including monthly FRR (Type 1, 4, 9) to the SFC.

• Participate in financial management functions, including annual budgeting, capital management, liquidity management, etc.

• Assist in managing treasury and banking relationships, performing valuation/modelling on structured products, and trading structured products.

• Liaise with external parties, such as auditors, bankers and agents, as required.

• Work closely with other business departments on a daily basis.

• Handle and participate in ad-hoc assignments assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferred in Accountancy, Finance, Auditing or related disciplines.

• Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience, with exposure in securities firm/sizeable financial institutions/audit firms is preferred.

• Sound knowledge in and understanding on financial products and derivatives such as Equity Swap.

• Proficient in MS Office such as Outlook, Excel, and Word. VBA knowledge is definitely an add-on advantage.

• Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

• Team-oriented and result-driven, innovative and willing to wear multiple hats to achieve goals.

• Passionate and self-motivated, with a strong sense of commitment and able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

• Assist in fund/senior treasury management and maintenance of good bank relationships, execute valuation/modeling and trading of structured products.

• Maintain good communication and contact with external partners (such as auditors/CPAs, bankers and agents) and closely cooperate with other business departments within the company to ensure the smooth progress of financial work.

• Handle and participate in the temporary tasks assigned by the management layer, ensure that the project is completed on time.

Entry Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above, accounting, finance, audit and other related professional qualifications are preferred.

• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience, those with brokerage, large financial institutions or accounting firms/auditing companies experience are preferred.

• Deep understanding and rich experience in financial products and derivatives (such as equity swaps)

• Applicants with CIMA, ACCA, CPA and other relevant professional qualifications are preferred.

• Proficient in MS Office office software, such as Outlook, Excel and Word. Candidates with VBA programming skills or those who are good at programming will be given priority.

• Have excellent Chinese and English writing and speaking skills.
